EVIA (Euboea)

KEA
Although Kea belongs to the Cyclades complex, its architecture and landscape has little similarities to the other islands of the complex. Also known as Tzia, Kea island is located south of Attica and right opposite the town of Lavrion. An island with rich history and relaxing beaches, Kea Greece receives mostly Athenian weekend vacationers. It has nice seaside villages, a picturesque capital and crystal beach waters. The architecture has more earthy colours that match the wild, mountainous landscape. The island can be reached only by ferry from the port of Lavrion, on the southernmost spot of Attica.
LESBOS (LESVOS)
The lush, green island of Lesvos, or Mytilini as it is also called, is like no other Greek island and perhaps no other place in the world. It is the third largest of the islands in Greece behind Crete and Evia. Virtually unaffected by the mass tourism that has turned other islands into amusement parks, Lesvos is the perfect place to visit for people who want to experience the real Greece.
LIMNOS
Serenely floating in the north of the Aegean Sea, Limnos (also spelt Lemnos) is a destination for a peaceful holiday in close contact with nature. Sheltered gulfs, extensive beaches and landscapes of volcanic rocks, alternate with small hills and traditional villages of stone houses. The volcanic island of Hephaestus, god of fire, lends its fertility to fruitful plains, which the locals make the best of by producing goods of unique taste and excellent quality.
SAMOS
Samos is a place of overwhelming vegetation. Everything around the virgin landscape is made of colour and light. Each step one takes is a revelation. Whether in the imposing mountains, such as Mt. Kerkis and Mt. Ambelos – with alpine winter temperatures and endless rain – or in caves and canyons, the environment of Samos reminds one of the Greek hinterland in miniature.
